Office Online Discussion
Office Online Discussion Groups and Search results -
It would be swell if it were easy to sort the search results - when I'm working in Office2007, posts from 2004 are most likely not going to be the most applicable to my issues. I'd love to be able to sort by date, among other things... maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any controls that would promote such efficient access to recent and more relevant posts. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Using a newsreader to read these newsgroups will allow you to search and
sort. The "discussion groups" are just a web interface for the "real" usenet groups here. glennho wrote: Office Online Discussion Groups and Search results - It would be swell if it were easy to sort the search results - when I'm working in Office2007, posts from 2004 are most likely not going to be the most applicable to my issues. Then I'll call it a wish - I Wish that the information at the site was more
efficiently searchable by my web-based newsreader (IE). OutlookExpress (the other option on this corporate-issued computer) doesn't hack it for me, and I usually don't have the time to invest in discussions and necessary OE subscriptions. Thanks for the suggestion, but I just can't go that route. Would that I had time to sort, sift, respond, and contribute, but today I'm after answers. I followed the links, and ended up here, hoping... Ah well. Thanks. "Bob I" wrote: Using a newsreader to read these newsgroups will allow you to search and sort. Google Groups is a bit more user friendly. But what's wrong with using OE?
