Default Report Image Control

Database created using Access XP and in 2000 format. Have report that loads
an image from a separate folder and is dependent upon the value of a field in
the report (i. e. the image changes with each record contained in the
report). VBA code for image loading is in the On Format of the Report
Header (where image resides). Am not sure when this happened but the image no
longer appears in the report screen display but does when report is printed
to pdf. A message appears when the report is first loaded (very brief) and
indicates image is loading but then image is not visible on screen. Image
box Visible property is "Yes". To make it even more strange the image
appears after the report is created at least partially when the Page Setup
function is opened. Once the Page Setup is closed a portion of the image may
or may not remain on screen.

Forms in the db are able to load images of the same type and residing in the
same folder that the report tries to call.

I recently replaced Access XP with Access 2003 with no image loading relief
in the report. (Access 2003 installed to relieve a Compact/Repair fault in
XP). If the db is opened using Access 2007 the image does appear on screen
in the report.
