remove clock icon from appointments in outlook

I have a clock icon on my appointments and can not remove it.

Go to View | Current View | Customize Current View (in Outlook 2003 there is
an "Arrange By" menu between View and Current View), click the Other
Settings button, and in the Week and/or Month sections, clear the checkbox
for "Show time as clocks". Note that if you have an timed appointment that
stretches across more than one calendar day, you will always see clock icons
at the beginning and end.
