Default 'Read Only"

I have a document that somehow got to be read-only. When I go to Microsoft
Office and click on Properties I can clear the 'read only' box but the next
time I go to the same document it is 'read only' again. YIKES!!! I hate
that game.

Can you help?

Thanks
