Page Numbers in Sections
I have a 20 page document with 3 sections. The sections
have 5, 7, and 8 pages each. I would like to have the header indicate that section 1 is PAGE 1 OF 5, section 2 would be PAGE 1 OF 7, and section 3 be PAGE 1 OF 8. Much information in the 1st section is linked to the other sections, hence the reason I don't just make separate documents. They are all filled out together but wind up going to different departments. Any idea??? |

Cindy,
If you sections are actually divided with Word Section Breaks (e.g., InsertBreakSection Break TypesNext Page), then you can easily do this with fields. Open your header and Type: Page PAGE of SECTIONPAGES Select PAGE and press CTRL+F9 Select SECTIONPAGES and press CTRL+F9 Press F9 -----Original Message----- I have a 20 page document with 3 sections.
