Default Page Numbers in Sections

I have a 20 page document with 3 sections. The sections
have 5, 7, and 8 pages each. I would like to have the
header indicate that section 1 is PAGE 1 OF 5, section 2
would be PAGE 1 OF 7, and section 3 be PAGE 1 OF 8.

Much information in the 1st section is linked to the other
sections, hence the reason I don't just make separate
documents. They are all filled out together but wind up
going to different departments. Any idea???

Cindy,

If you sections are actually divided with Word Section
Breaks (e.g., InsertBreakSection Break TypesNext Page),
then you can easily do this with fields.

Open your header and Type: Page PAGE of SECTIONPAGES
Select PAGE and press CTRL+F9
Select SECTIONPAGES and press CTRL+F9
Press F9

Thanks so much. Worked great. Never knew this could be
done.
