Default login time when outlook is opened

hi,
can anybody help in identifying any solution to my problem.

i have to track the login time of the students and currently every body
sends me a mail as sson as he opens outlook...and then i am record the time
and date.
though i can manually track in excel but to have any valid evidence i am
using the out look sent mail as my back up.

i am using outlook 2003 and is there any solution wherein i can track the
login time of the students when they open the outlook or any tool in outlook
2003 in which the mail will be directly send to me when they open outlook so
that they do not have draft and send to me

When they log onto what?
If onto the network, then you can use your network monitoring tools to track
login times. If you are using Active Directory, you can use the Security log
of the Event Viewer on a domain controller to find the logon times.

Either way, I would not rely on a mailing system to get such notifications.
If I were a student and was being controlled like that, I'd create a
Scheduled Task to send a mail at 7AM while and stay in bed; no scripting
needed whatsoever.

So, what exactly are you trying to achieve by this?
