default display in dropdown?
I have a dropdown in a access 07 Form which has a list of States.
I would like tjhe state of Washington to be the default state showing, yet allowing the user to click the dropdown arrow to select another state. I tried the Default option and typed 'Washington' in properties, but it doesn't display it. Is there a way? |

If so the DefaultValue property must be for the bound column, not the displayed one. Otherwise what you did should work. -- Rick Brandt, Microsoft Access MVP Email (as appropriate) to...
