classic pivottable layout
I want to know how can I set the default for the classic Pivottable layout in
version 2007. I've tried the pivottable options display tab and checked the Classic Pivottable layout, didn't work. ~thank you |

On the Options tab pf the PivotTable Tools, the leftmost group, PivotTable,
click Options, then click Options. In that dialog, click the "Display" tab, and use the 4th checkbox, "Classic Picottable layout" Bob Umlas Excel MVP "Dan" wrote: I want to know how can I set the default for the classic Pivottable layout in version 2007. You can't change the default for that pivot table option. You can
manually change it for each pivot table, or create a macro that changes the pivot table options. Dan wrote: I want to know how can I set the default for the classic Pivottable layout in version 2007. I already tried that method, it works only for the current PivotTable next
time I create a new one I have to manually change it again. perhaps it's the only way to set it up. thank you "Bob Umlas, Excel MVP" wrote: On the Options tab pf the PivotTable Tools, the leftmost group, PivotTable, click Options, then click Options. How do we convince Microsoft to make it possible to change the default to
Classic? Many users prefer it, at least in my office. Can be a PITA to have to set it for each individual pivot table or to run a macro every time. Microsoft... if you're lurking out there, please consider this!
