Default unbound control

After placing a textbox (unbound control) on a form, what is the process to
bind it to a field from a table. I've tried adding the control source but
keep getting #Name?

Thank you

That suggests that the field name you entered does not exist in the
RecordSource of the form. Try this instead...

In Form design view go to the toolbar and press the button that displays the
Field List. Is the desired field in that list? If not, then your
RecordSource needs to be modified so that it is. If the field is in the
list just drag it to your form and Access will create a bound control for
you.

Hi Rick,
Thank you for the response. No it is not in the field list. How can I modify
the field list to include this?

Rick,
I see it. The keyword was recordsource of the form. I was looking at the
conrol source of the control.

Thank you
