Default Transfering emails to another account

I am trying to transfer a couple of floders worth of emails from one acount
to another. I tried using .pst files but I could not open them nor import
them. I am curious if anyone can help me out with either a different way to
move them or maybe tell me what I am doing wrong. Both machines are running
2003. I have tried to the open file method and the import method for the
..pst.

I found a utility that allows you to backup your pst files. then you should
be able to load them into Outlook on your new system.

I backup my Outlook PST files to CD so that I have all my stuff in case of
HD crash. This might be what you are looking for.
