How do I move my contacts into the address book?
All contacts show in CONTACTS but none show in the ADDRESS BOOK or when you're in an e-mail and want to use c.c., b.c.c. I have tried what Mircosoft suggests as a fix but it doesn't work.

you think Microsoft suggested that didn't work? How do I move my contacts into the address book?
Sorry for not being more specific, it is Office 2007 I am having problems
with. Yes the link you sent is what I tried previously (listed below). - In the tools/account settings/address tab, it shows "Outlook Address Book" MAPI....this cannot be deleted. - In the file/folder/properties/outlookaddressbook , it does not let me tick the box "show this folder as an e-mail address book" I am not really sure what I need to do next. Outlook 2007 is still new, so it is still essentially a beta. Normally one
does not need to delete the address book service unless they corrupted their profile in the first place. Did you? I did not corupt the profile. It has not worked since i transfered, following
Mircrosofts instructions, my Outlook.pst file over from Office 2003 to 2007. The deleteing i referred to was found in another discussion group. So I tried to do it and it would not work. I am looking for help to fix it, if you don't have any ideas, can you please suggest who I can contact. Thank you. What other help did you need? I told you what you had to do: create a new
profile. http://support.microsoft.com/default...roduct=out2003 However, you had better be more clear on how you migrated your data so we can figure out what you did wrong. Thank you for your help Russ & Brian. I was able to get my address book
back......without corupting it as you say. By the way I originally followed the instructions supplied with Windows Easy Transfer to move my .pst files and all doucuments. I worked great other then the address book problem. Dave p.s. Russ you need to lighten up a bit...we all don't know as much as you do about these programs.
