Default SubReport Totals in Main Report footer

I have a main report with a subreport on it. In the subreport I have a total
field in the footer(txtSubSubtotal). My main report has a text field that
refers to that subreport total (txtMainSubTotal). I have another field in
the main report (txtTotalDiff) that refers to a total on the main report and
then subtracts the total from the subreport. This amount is in the details
section of the report. My report is set up in a six column layout so I have
six (txtTotalDiff) going across the screen, works beautifully. However now,
in the main report footer I want to total the field (txtTotalDiff). I have
tried several different ways of getting a total and I either get a total for
only one column, an "#Error", or a parameter to the subtotal in the
subreport. Any ideas??

Thanks so much for your help!
