Why does your subject line need to be so long? It's just supposed to be an
indication of the topic, not a novel.

What an earth for? when you look at a book index, do the chapter headings
read like a novel?

The Subject Line is only supposed to say MAN BITES DOG, leave the details
for the Message Body.

You not supposed to say in the Subject Line, THE MAN WENT OUTSIDE TO FACE A
LARGE CANINE THAT LUNGED AT HIM FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET SO THE MAN
HAD TO FIGHT BACK IN A LIFE AND DEATH STRUGGLE, AND THE STRUGGLE WENT ON AND
ON FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AND FINALLY ENDED ...

Message Body
.... when the man bit the dog.
