Problem with Office Home and Student 2007
OS WinXP Home with all current updates.
Add/Remove Change setup fails. Install product setup fails. I believe that Add/Remove remove setup will also fail. Microsoft Office Diagnostics also fails. Log has the following- Msi featu Excel_WISPFiles, had state -1, treating as absent Msi featu Word_WISPFiles, had state -1, treating as absent Error: Type: . UnexpectedError ErrorCode: 1605(0x645). This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. Error: Type: . UnexpectedError ErrorCode: 1605(0x645). This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. Error: Type: . UnexpectedError ErrorCode: 1605(0x645). This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. Catalyst execution finished: 06/15/2009 10:08:44. Return code: 30088. Exception caught: UnexpectedError. PERF: TickCount=261134015 Name=RunSetup Description=End function This tells me nothing. Does Microsoft have a standalone manual batch tool to remove Office Home and Student 2007? TIA
