Default Setup program wont start

I am looking to reinstall / repair the office 2007 enterprise and when
running the CD it starts in the gathering info screen and the launched an
windows error message like this :

EventType office12setup, P1 {10120000-0f00-0000-0000--0000000ff1ce}, P2
12.0.4518.1014, P3 x, P4 unexpectederror, P5 enterpriser_enterpriserww.xml,
P6 x, P7 x, P8 NIL, P9 NIL, P10 NIL.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

anyone has any idea of what this means and how to correct ...

I run diagnostics from within the office application and finds no errors

the problem is the same if i run change from the add/remove software
control panel window

thanks

The CD (or is it a DVD?) is not needed to repair Office 2007. Office stores
everything needed to repair itself (and add additional features not
originally installed) in the Local Install Source, which is a hidden folder
on your hard drive.

Eric

Office Enterprise is a VL version

{canned answer}

For Office Enterprise issues see the following. Support on this version is only
available from MS or your IT Department and we cannot help you here with the Office
Enterprise version.

Sorry but we do not know if it is Pirated or not. You should have gotten these
instructions as above on your Home Program purchase from your Company

The support for Office 2007 Enterprise is free and look and open
last question

Here you will find the Phone numbers and email addresses as to where and whom to
contact about Office Enterprise and your issue.
