Default Installing Office Home and Student 2007; Leaving Office 2003 Activ

I have a copy of Office Home and Student 2007 to install. At the same time I
would like to leave my existing copy of Office 2003 active. My 2003 Office
has Outlook, Access, Visio and Publisher which do not come with the 2007 Home
and Student.

Question: If I install 2007 Home and Student will the installer leave the
2003 application active so I can access them? I don't want to overwrite and
lose the Outlook, Access, Visio and Publisher applications.

Thanks in advance
Bill

Any install will never overwrite any program that isn't on the new install
disk so it won't touch them. One issue you will have if you allow the
install to overwrite Word 2003 is that Outlook normally uses Word as it's
text editor. If you only have Word 2007 on the computer then Outlook 2003
won't have that default editor.

See: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b/928091/en-us for more
information on running more than one copy of Office.
