Rebuild Outlook 2007 .pst files?
I've overwritten the initial Outlook 2007 .pst files with Outlook 2000 .pst
files, and 2007 won't recognize them as personal folders. Now Outlook won't run because it can't find valid Outlook 2007 personal folders. Next time I guess I have to do an import of the old pst files. How can I rebuild the .pst files? Thanks. |

Rebuild Outlook 2007 .pst files?
Primer:
1. You never overwrite Outlook Data Files 2. You never import Outlook Data files 3. You cannot "rebuild" Outlook Data Files Answer: The only valid way to access Outlook data files is to open them in Outlook: File Open Outlook Data File... What you do after that is up to you. You can reuse the file by setting it as your new default file or you can copy what you want from it into your current default. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Short" wrote in message ...
