Linking Contacts from Outlook to Access (Off 2007)
I've finally figured out how to link my Outlook Contacts list from Outlook to
Access (although I'm still looking for the code to do this programmatically). However, it looks like this is probably only a view of the data, and several critical fields (including email addresses) are missing. I noticed that if I export my contact list to Access, it does include the email addresses, but I was hoping to synch the two. I've seen a couple of older (year or more) posts indicating that linking to the contact list is problematic. Does anyone have any alternatives that would provide a more robust solution and provide access to fields not available through linking? -- HTH Dale Don''t forget to rate the post if it was helpful! email address is invalid Please reply to newsgroup only. |

Linking Contacts from Outlook to Access (Off 2007)
Check this article out:
http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadF...tegration.aspx. I used the code in there to create a contact, and there is code to iterate through your contacts, so you should be able to manipulate them further. The code is all in C#, but shouldn't be too difficult to convert to VB for use inside access.
