Hi
I am using Outlook 2003 for email and have noticed a delay
between clicking a message header and having it open in the message
pane. Anyone got any ideas on this please? Win XP HE Sp3 2GB RAM and
loads of disk space.

What kind of delay are we talking about here?
A second? More than 5? More than 10? More than a minute?
Which mail account type are you using?
Do you notice the same delay when using Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start- Run; outlook.exe /safe

About 5 seconds and it works fine in safe mode.

Then it usually indicates that an addin is causing you this slowdown.
Disable them all and then enable them one by one to find the culprit.
