Saving e-mail messages and junk mail list in upgrade
I am planning to upgrade from Outlook 2000 to Outlook
2003, but don't want to lose my junk mail list, and contacts. How can I ensure that these setting transfer over, or back them up to an archive to be safe? Thanks. |

Your contacts are in your main Personal Folders file (PST). You can use the Personal Folders Backup Utility from the Microsoft download site to back that up.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...F-5A6322F4FD01 Outlook 2003 uses a completely different junk mal feature and you won't need your junk mail rules. You can read more about the new junk mail filtering at http://www.microsoft.com/office/edit.../junkmail.mspx "Dave G." wrote: I am planning to upgrade from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003, but don't want to lose my junk mail list, and contacts.
