Film in powerpoint
I really want to be able to play extracts of video
through powerpoint presentations. I have beeen able to import video into my home desktop, a sony with the gigapocket programme. This play very well on the home machine, however when I copy it to CD and try to play the PP on another machine, particularly a Dell laptop, it won't work. I have copied over all the support files. The video plays happily through media player but will not allow itself to be inserted into the PP. I get a black square which will not run. The video is an MPEG. It plays in quicktime and in real one. I have increased the memmory on the laptop to 700+. I have copied everything to the harddrive. I can't import the video into the laptop- no phone connection- or I would make them on the Dell and see if that works. I am a drama teacher and want to be able to illustrate points in my teaching by using short example. Help! Please! Yours in an-tii-pationnnnn, Maureen Cooke Is there any one who can suggest a way of doing what I want |

I suspect that it might be as simple as broken links. See:
Sounds/Movies don't play or links break when I move or email a presentation http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00155.htm -- Sonia, MS PowerPoint MVP Team Autorun CD software, templates, and tutorials http://www.soniacoleman.com/ "Maureen Cooke" wrote in message ...
