Default Will Outlook 2003 overwrite Outlook 2000?

If I install Outlook 2003 will it overwrite my existing Outlook 2000? Will I
lose my saved emails?
Why doesn't Microsoft tell us ANYTHING?
Why is Outlook so needlessly mysterious?
Just an answer to first question would be great. Thanks.

Since only one version of Outlook can run on any given machine, Outlook 2000 will be removed when you install Outlook 2003. Nothing will happen to your data.
