Default Shapes fall to the bottom of the page

Using Visio 2000 I am making Cross-Functional flow charts, typically with 5
to 7 horizontal bands, several sheets to a file. At times, after I have
saved a diagram, when I open it again all the shapes and connectors appear to
have fallen to the bottom of the page. The shapes are flattened, but the
text is not.

I would like for my shapes to stay put! Any assistance will be greatly
appreciated.

Hello, several of my colleagues are encountering the same problem, but not
myself. Have you received an answer to this problem yet?
