normal style???
When I start W07 my default doc has a "graph paper" look inside the margins.
I think this is commong from the norma style sheet. NEW BLANK DOCUMENT puts a new blank page on the screen with a graph paper look inside the margins. This graph look doesn't print it's just a pain in the eye's... |

You need to turn off the Drawing Grid from within the Normal.dotx, that will

In the View ribbon tab, click to remove the check next to Gridlines in the
Show section. That will turn off the graph-paper look.
