Default 2002/2003 Compatability

I have a Visio 2003 template that I use.
Will it function in Visio 2002?
Can it be saved back a version, if necessary?

Does it include embedded code, or is it just drawings? A vst file (per
Graham Wideman the master ;-)) is basically a vsd with a different
perspective. So if it's just graphics you should be able to save to v2002
format.
