Hi,

can anyone tell me how to select a clipart and a textbox at the same time?
It was so easy before word '07. I need to group them together.

Thanks you.

This is related to Word 2007's new graphics engine. To group them, you'll
either need to place both onto the drawing canvas, or work with the document
in compatibility mode. Once you've successfully grouped the object, you can
revert to .docx format or dispense with the drawing canvas, and grouping
will continue to work for those objects.

If you then introduce additional text boxes, clip art, etc., those new
object won't be groupable.

What I do... is use an [otherwise] blank compatibility document to launder
the objects and make the groupable, then paste them into the .docx document.
I'm also crossing my fingers and hoping that this gets addressed in a future
release.
