Default zoom
Is there a way in Word 2003 to set the default zoom to 100% so that new
blank documents will have that zoom on opening? Following the Word HELP, I tried to set View | Zoom | 100% while in NORMAL.DOT but that does not seem to work for some reason. I do no see any subjects here with the word "zoom" in the NG. I do have Adobe 7 loaded and I found reference to that possibly affecting NORMAL.DOT changes or prompts to save, or something (?)... but some other changes I made to Normal.dot did get changed. TIA, Paul |

First take a look at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm. If this doesn't work, see also the response by Klaus Linke in the thread at http://groups.google.se/group/micros...6b69b56d385969 (or you can search for other similar posts at http://groups.google.com/advanced_search). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "PaulE" wrote: Is there a way in Word 2003 to set the default zoom to 100% so that new blank documents will have that zoom on opening? Sincere thanks for the reply. I was not aware of the Google groups... I
will be sure to look there also in the future. "Stefan Blom" wrote in message ... First take a look at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm. Google merely archives the content from these and other newsgroups.
