Question Formatting Field In Mail-Merge

I have a Word document that uses excel as the data source. I need to display zeros in the some of the fields and number with commas in those same fields. I used the sitch \###,###,###,###. The numbers worked fine but my zeros didn't come thru.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

Question

I am having this same problem with Access. I have a currency amount of $900.00 that I want to come over exactly like that, but it just comes over as 900. I tried what Jerry discussed with the switch (I used \###,###.##) but I only got 900. back (it added the decimal). This is so frustrating! Anybody have any thoughts??? Thanks!
Ryan
