Default adding 2007 office student to another computer

i understand that I can add the 2007 student to 3 computers I have 2 each
different types #1 desktop (gateway) bought 1st had the trial and bought the
full from a download. Now we have a laptop (toshiba) it also had the trial
of office 2007 student on it. Tried to convert and use key given at time of
full version download from gateway computer...didnt work, so we uninstalled
everything reguarding microsoft trial on the laptop. was that a good thing?

Hears my real question, how do you get 2007 on other computer since it says
it can be used on 3.

Thanks for detailed info

You have to run the setup program you downloaded, on the new PC.
I assume you didnt chose the pay extra option to have the cd sent?

I dont recall ever seeing the option to buy or have delivered a "CD". On the
invoice that I printed up after the purchuse was the " OPTIONAL Licence lock
box-with licence key" which we paid wxtra for $14.99 Im going to put another
question out there now... is it too late to get a cd copy from the company, I
cant seem to locate that info myself.

If you subscribed to the Lockbox, reviste the download site, Digital River?
and log backin to access your lockbox & re download.
I cannot tell you about purchase of CD after the event, but if you log
backin to Digital River? you may find out there
