CAN I PASSWORD PROTECT MY HEADER AND FOOTER
I want to protect the footer of a document that I created so the author can
not be manipulated by someone else. Is it a way I can just put a password on the header and footer of my document and allow other changes to be made to my document by others? |

CAN I PASSWORD PROTECT MY HEADER AND FOOTER
Hi Sherry,
If you insert a section break right at the start of your document, then use Tools|Protection|Forms and, with the 'Sections' button, deselect the second (and any later) sections, users won't have access to either the header or the footer. You should be aware, though, that this disables a lot of other functionality too, as you'll see by the numerous menu items that get greyed out. Cheers "Sherry" wrote in message ...
