Default won't accept 0 or 1 in product id

just bought Office Standard 2007 (military appreciation edition) and when I
try to activate , as soon as I type a 0 or a 1 it tells me those are not
acceptable numbers in a product id.

Using Vista Home premium, new computer, 64 bit.......
have tried the bar code number as well as other number on label. package was
sealed when purchased so it should be genuine and purchased at NEX.

The number that you need is a 25 character code in 5 groups of 5. If it is
in a standard Office Standard packaging the sticker will be located on the
back of the flip out CD/DVD tray. It is orange in color. The printing is
small.

Make sure you uninstall any trial Office edition and it's associated
activation key and reboot the computer prior to installing the Office
CD/DVD.

Military Appreciation Edition is a Volume License version (Enterprise). You have to
call the source from where you got the install DVD from and ask for the IT person.
The License (not the product number) is included somewhere in the documentation that
you received with this package. It would not be on the DVD Case (Again, the number
is in your documentation somewhere or in your email or call the source and ask for
the IT person))
