Default Field Validation Rule to Exclude Ampersand

I am trying to create a validation rule for a table field that will prevent
the use of the ampersand character (&).
InStr(1,[strClientName],"&",1)0
does not work.
What is the correct syntax?

I found my problem.
InStr(1,[strClientName],"&",1)=0
is the correct syntax.
