Shadow Text Fading
Hi Community,
How do I prevent shadowed text from fading in a PPT file that has been used and reopened. After each use of a PPT file with shadowed text, upon reopening the file a day or so later, some of the shadowed text will have faded, but still show the shadow. Help, help! Thank you in advance. |

Shadow Text Fading
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the text has "faded." Could you
give us a bit more information there? Is this during slide show view or when you're editing or what? -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PPT 2010? http://www.echosvoice.com/2010.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://tinyurl.com/36grcd PowerPoint 2007 Complete Makeover Kit http://tinyurl.com/32a7nx "MoPete99" wrote in message ... Shadow Text Fading
Echo,
After typing text on a PPT slide, I format it by selecting the "shadow" option to make the text look bolder. However, I may have solved my problem upon discovering that when I click the edge of a text box (a dash rectangular box) , it becomes a solid line rectangular box (is this a text placeholder?). Now I can format everything in the text placeholder and the formatting is fixed unless I change it later. This is not the case with a text box. Hope this clarifies my explanation. Thanks.
