Default Drawing a vertical line in word

Hi,

I'm looking to draw a vertical line on the left hand side of the page for a
building survey report i am writing, how would i do this?

It would be laid out 1.0 (vertical line) CHIMNEYS

Would greatley appreciate any help!

Default Drawing a vertical line in word

Several ways to do this but I suggest a two-row asymmetrical table and only
format the separator column border to print. Then create a new row for each
entry.
