Default How do I create a new project in publisher?

I'm looking in to making a custom calendar - with the ability to upload 13
different pictures. In the user's manual, it says to click on file, and click
Create a Project...however, I do not have this option listed in my drop down
file. How do I go about getting this corrected?

Amber was very recently heard to
utter:

There is never and has never been a "Create a Project" button on the File
menu in Publisher, as far as I know, and it has certainily not said so in
the manual.

You might have a manual for a different product, such as Microsoft Home
Publishing or Microsoft PictureIt! Publishing.
Microsoft Publisher has the File New menu item, which take you to the
Publisher Catalog, which lets you select Calendar. It will take some manual
adjustment to make it appear perfectly the way you want, but it should be a
good start.

What version Publisher? I think the last time Publisher had a user manual was version
98. In any event I think you probably are using Home Publishing. No help here, but
there is help on the PictureIt! newsgroup.

Mary,

Publisher 2000 came with a 200+ page "Microsoft Publisher 2000 Companion"
book.

I never had the full version of Office 2000. I bought the Small Business version, it
had Publisher on disk two. I have so many manuals around, I may have it, just can't
recall it. I don't use software manuals, they are a waste of a tree. I just push
buttons and open menus until I stumble on the right method.
