Default Outlook 2007 failure to work wrap in document window.

Despite my efforts, Outlook will not word wrap the text. It will extend out
to the right well past the margin and past the end of the ruler.

I have selected "Editor options", "Advanced", "Display e-mail content", and
then I checked "Show text wrapped within the document window".

To no avail.

Furthermore, I cannot set the margins. Pulling the margin out won't
hold.........immediately upon releasing the left key, it reverts back to it's
original position.

Thanks in advance.........I've been struggling with it since it was installed.

The problem is occurring in many instances (including with my Outlook 2007
using VISTA). Word wrap seems to work only in select messages; the rest are
irritating to read. I have found no solutions in searching the Web.
