Viewing Outlook Profiles
On a windows xp sp3 workstation we are running Microsoft Office 2003
Professional with the recent service pack installed. We have gone under mail and set up a second profile for another mailbox on our server so that when we opened Outlook it would prompt us for the profile we want to view or access. This worked fine for awhile but now we can't get it to work at all. It either will not prompt us, or if it does prompt us, we still can't open the alternate profile or get stuck in one. We have run Detect and Repair on Outlook and it still does that same thing. Has anyone seen this before and have a suggested fix for it. |

Viewing Outlook Profiles
Sounds like the outlook.exe does not terminate. Did you install it on the
server so that an application can use it or a person? Only a single instance can be running per user. If an application needs to use Outlook, then you should make its service run under a different user context. If you are running it interactively see; See http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/outlookdoesntclose.htm -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Holcomb.frank" wrote in message ...
