Field with IF and nested formula not working
Shouldn't this work so that if the value of bookmark1 * bookmark2 is
anything other then 0 it will display the value of bookmark1 * bookmark2, otherwise it will be blank. In stead it shows no matter what the value of the bookmarks are. Insert-Field Field Codes: IF { = bookmark1 * bookmark2 } 0 { = bookmark1 * bookmark2 } If it matters it's word 2000 Thanks RC |

Field with IF and nested formula not working
If the field result is then you have not created a field but simply typed
the entry. You must use CTRL+F9 for each pair of field boundaries. The syntax would then be: {IF{={REF Bookmark1} * {REF Bookmark2}} 0 "{={REF Bookmark1} * {REF Bookmark2}}"} or {IF{={Bookmark1} * {Bookmark2}} 0 "{=({Bookmark1} * {Bookmark2}}" } -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP Web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site www.mvps.org/word RC wrote: Shouldn't this work so that if the value of bookmark1 * bookmark2 is anything other then 0 it will display the value of bookmark1 * bookmark2, otherwise it will be blank.
