How do I get the dinging sound to stop when I am in Office
Hi Mike,
It's possible that there is a dialog box of some type open behind the document you're working on. Sometimes you'll see an item on the task bar or you may be able to see it in Alt+Tab, but not always. In those cases the 'ding' can come from the dialog box wanting you to make a 'valid' selection and typing isn't what it's seeking. ======== "Mike Miller" wrote in message ... How do I get the dinging sound to stop when I am in Office
Mike,
See if this applies. Found it while researching online help for "dinging sounds in office" Do one or both of the following: Turn on or off sound 1.. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the General tab. 2.. Select or clear the Provide feedback with sound check box. Note Changing this setting will affect all of your Microsoft Office programs. "Bob Buckland ?:-)" 75214.226(At Beautiful Downtown)compuserve.com wrote in message ...
