Default ppt 03 Use vba to find & extract a value fm an embedded excel work

Steve and Brian,

Back in Jan of this year you assisted me with the vba code to find and
extract a value from a ppt table. At that time, Brian stated that he
preferred to use excel spreadsheets vice ppt tables.

So... Brian how do I code to search an embedded excel worksheet for a
specific value while running a presentation. I don't want to open excel.

I am currently using vba controls to allow the user change various values
during the presentation. Based on these values, I do some calculations.

The spreadsheet could eventually run to 1400 lines. The user entered values
designate row and colunm values.

Thanks

You'd have to open Excel (ie, activate the embedded worksheet) in order to work
with it, but I'm guessing that Brian can tell you how to do it invisibly.
