Default Tables

A Table has 2 columns and 5 rows.
How can I make the 3ed row down
have only 1 column?

In other words, how do I
eliminate the division between
the 2 columns in row 3?
Or is this possible?

I suppose I could have three separate
tables stacked on top of each other.

Create your table in Word and bring it over into Pub.

BTW - will you be at National Seminar in October?

While waiting for a reply, I devised a work around.

I placed a text box in the row, then another on top of it.
This eliminated the line between the two rows and allowed me to
type in the center of the one row I had make out of the two.

But thanks for your tip.
No, I will not be able to go to Seminar.
I will be in Spain instead.

Gee, let me think. Richmond, Spain, Richmond, Spain...

Too bad - I'll be there for the last day or two. Would have been nice to
meet. :-)

Select the two columns, table menu, merge cells.
