-Hotmail disappears from OE
I just added my hotmail account to the OE Folders. After "retrieving" my
messages from hotmail I deleted them at the site. When I went to re-read the messages I retrieved using OE I find they are no longer there. I am assuming the "syncronize" option did this. Now I have sync unchecked. IS that what deleted all of the hotmail inbox messages from OE? |

Thanks, but it didn't address my disappearing messages.
Apparently, I can view the hotmail messages only as long as they stay resident at the hotmail site? I am wondering now what happens if I open them in OE and then use "copy to/ move to" to my local Inbox Duh, I see the prob. Hotmail is NOT shown as a local folder. The OE display is only reflecting what resides at Hotmail, it never actually downloads them to local folders. So, I do have to move them to local folders if I don't want to lose them when deleting from the Hotmail site. That is logical. "PA Bear" wrote in message ... WYS in OE "mirrors" WYS in Hotmail online. Delete a message in one, the message will be deleted in the other.
