Default Trim and Distinct

I answered my own question.

I went into Excel to trim the data first. In a separate column I input
"=TRIM(A2)" then copied that for all the necessary rows. Then I copied this
Trimed column and did a paste special/values back into the original column.
The data was cleaned nicely.

For Distinct, I did a query for Parts and Part Desc.
SELECT DISTINCT impRawLOBtblParts.PartNo, impRawLOBtblParts.Description INTO
impRawDistincttblParts
FROM impRawLOBtblParts;

I have some new data in a table that I need to clean up. How do I use Trim (
) and Distinct?
