Hello

I posted a question (at least I thought I did) last week on how to get keyboard picture to allow me to label keys for a very basic computing course. Now I can't find it so don't know if there were any responses. I have now got a solution (I got someone to photograph it with a digital camera and send it to me by email) but would welcome any more sophisticated ideas!
I would also like to know how to find the original question.

Thanks for your time.

Take a look at http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/r...keyboards.aspx

Using Google I could not find any prior post from you.

You can install a font whose characters resemble keyboard keys. For
example, go to
http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free...l#Free%20Fonts and
scroll about a third of the way down to the Keycaps Regular font. In
this font, typing "W" makes a W key, "h" makes an Insert key, "a" makes
an Alt key, "t" makes an F9 key, "o" makes an F4 key, etc. Once you
install a font like this, you can use Insert - Symbol to insert
characters from this font. If you plan to distribute a Word document
containing unusual fonts like this to other people, make sure you embed
the fonts when you save (Tools - Options - Save - Embed TrueType
fonts). Hope this helps. garfield-n-odie
