Default Fonts not in list: Access 2003

We have some Open Type fonts in use for some corporate documents (.otf) and
need to use them in MS Access reports.

These fonts show up in the list in MS Word (2003), but do not appear in
Access' list. I can work around this by copying and pasting the font name
into the list (e.g. from MS Word's list), and the the label or control
selected does change to the correct font, but I'm wondering why these don't
show up in the list in the first place.

BTW, after pasting the name into Access' list (e.g. Folio Std Medium), it
still does not appear as a choice even tho Access recognizes the font. Is
this a bug? I've searched the KB but did not find anything on this. Also,
these fonts do show up in Access 97's list...

Thanks for any assistance

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your post.

From your descriptions, I understood that you failed to find Open Type font
in your Access List control. Have I understood you? Correct me if I was
wrong.

Based on my scope, I am afraid I cannot reproduce it on my side. I download
some other Open Type font and then install them in my Windows 2003.
Everything works well as expected. So, is it possible for you to generate a
small sample for me (including the mdb and otf file)?

Thank you for your patience and corporation. If you have any questions or
concerns, don't hesitate to let me know. We are here to be of assistance!

Sincerely yours,

Michael,

Thanks for your reply. Where do you want me to send the files for you to test?
