Default Default Format

As an assistant I am often sent multiple Word docs to be
edited/corrected/printed/etc. I receive docs from 5 different people, each
with their own preferred format. So when I open their document, my settings
are automatically changed.

Is there a way to make my options/format/preferences always appear instead
of having to change each one of theirs every time I get a new document?

If they are using the same styles that you have set, then running AutoFormat
will change their formatting to your formatting, but if they have used
direct formatting with everything in normal style, then no.

You can remove all their formatting by SelectAll (Ctrl+A) and then
Ctrl+Spacebar, Ctrl+Q will rid all their stuff.

What you should do is to create Workgroup templates all correctly formatted
to the agreed company formatting and force them to use the templates.
