Word 2000 Figure Captions Automatically Reset to 1 after Each Heading 1
For some unexplained reason, the figure/table captions in my Word 2000 document automatically revert to 1 after each Heading 1. I know for a fact from troubleshooting the problem that it happens only after a Heading 1.
Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks. Terry

Are you including the chapter number in the figure numbers?
