Multiple addresses without multiple accounts?
I am using Outlook XP on Windows XP Pro
What I have is this... my Outlook is set up to download anything that is sent to . This way, I can customize my addresses depending on what I use them for, and then always know where my spam and viruses are coming from. Lets say I have 2 friends, one uses the address and one uses . When they e-mail me and I reply, it replies through my 1 default account, not their personalized ones. Is there any way to get it so that the reply to address will ALWAYS be the address that I recieved the mail through? I know this is possible if I add an account for each address, but would rather not do this. Thanks in advance Don |

If you have a catch all mailbox, outlook will always reply through the main
account that is used to download the message. You'll need to either create accounts for each address you want to send from (set them to not download mail) or type the address in the From field each time you send a message. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Author, Google and Other Search Engines (Visual QuickStart Guide) Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Join OneNote Tips mailing list: http://www.onenote-tips.net/ "Don" wrote in message ...
