Anyone has tried to run OE on Windows 7?
While Windows 7 does not come with OE or Windows Mail, I do have a CD-ROM
for installing IE5. It can be installed on Windows 9x and ME as a standalone program. OE can also be installed when customized installation is selected. Has anyone out there tried to install this standalone program (IE5 and OE5) on Windows 7? I believe IE6/OE6 is also a standalone program which is not built into the operating system. Anyone has tried this out as well? |

On some hardware-specific PCs running Win7 Ultimate (RC), one can use
Windows Mail in XP Mode. You cannot install IE5 or IE6 in Win7 and neither version is a standalone. -- ~PA Bear Jimmy Ho wrote: While Windows 7 does not come with OE or Windows Mail, I do have a CD-ROM for installing IE5.
