Default Microsoft Script Editor not installed

I am using Microsoft Office XP Professional Version 2002. I am also
using Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11.

I have reinserted my Office install CD and selected Office Tools-HTML
Source Editing-Web Scripting-Web Debugging and choses "Run all from my
computer." The installation proceeds and it appears as if components
are being installed. Then When I try to find script debugging from
the IE menu (after deselecting disablescript debugging from Tools-
Options-Advanced) the script debug item on the View menu does not
appear. I search of the hard drive for "MSE7.exe" or any variant
thereof "MSE*.exe" turns up nothing. I have repeated this process by
going to a higher level on the Office Tools to make sure all
components are installed but to no avail. Each time the install
program indicates components are being installed and each time when it
is finished a search of the hard drive turns up nothing
